Morning, everyone — it's been a quiet, layered kind of day. APT closed quick (a range short that hit its +3.28% target in just over 13 hours), and five fresh shorts landed overnight and this morning, all on the same theme: coins stuck sideways. The book now has eleven open positions across seven coins, with three of them stacked — SHIB, LDO, and PEPE are each carrying multiple independent signals at different ages and targets. That's the rules agreeing, not a mistake.

The stacks on LDO and PEPE are repeats: the trade fired once, cooled off, and fired again on the same coin within 24 to 65 hours. The backtest read on that pattern is clean — when bitcoin didn't pump more than +2% between the two fires, the second short actually outperformed fresh ones. LDO's repeat came in with bitcoin down −2.69% between entries; PEPE's with a −0.41% move. Both are the favorable case. The newest LDO (just 12 hours old) came in as bitcoin was up +1.66%, still well within the band where these run slightly better than baseline.

You can see the concentration in the book: eight range shorts (the tight targets, the quick resolve), three longer-dated bounce shorts on SHIB and AAVE that are waiting for their +10% targets, and one autonomous long on SHIB that's been sitting for 3.4 days. The bounce shorts are the patient ones; they give up after 14 days if they don't hit. The range shorts resolve or stop in days, usually much faster.

### the market from here

Bitcoin closed the day down −1.23% but held just above the 50-day average at $63,928\. That's the key line — it's two legs away from real support. The 30-day low sits at $57,886 (down 9.4%), and the monthly open at $58,532 (down 8.4%), but price has been living above the 50-day since yesterday's low. If that breaks, the tape opens up downward. If it holds, you're in the band where a range-bound or grinding-sideways pattern does what you'd expect: bounces touch some target, sellers come back in.

The daily RSI is at 48.6 — dead middle, no stretch either way. Ethereum is similar: RSI 53.7, price $1,887.51, sitting 6.7% above its 50-day but 10.8% below the 200-day. Both are in a resting posture, not a trending one.

Order flow from yesterday told a story: buyers hit the button hardest on BTC (the most buyer-heavy day in ten days), and INJ saw the same thing. But APT, LDO, and NEAR got hammered by sellers — all three showed net seller aggression, with APT the worst at −7.9% of volume going to market sellers. That's precisely why we have shorts on those coins. AAVE, the older bounce short still open, saw buyers press at +2.3% — but that doesn't hurt a target that's +10% away.

Leverage is stacking: bitcoin OI jumped +2.2% yesterday and ethereum +2.1%. Both pairs have shorts paying longs (negative funding), meaning the crowd is leaning short. **If price ticks up from here with any real volume, you're watching the crowded boat try to reverse.** It wouldn't kill the setup, but it would add noise to a week that already has nine days of sideways and downside in it.

The tape looks like this: bitcoin resting above its 50-day, ethereum above its 50-day but well below the 200, both RSIs in the middle, sellers having owned the past day on a few of the book's coins, buyers having pushed back on the majors. If I had to guess, this leans more chop than a hard turn in either direction — at least through the weekend. That's the kind of market where range shorts print and bounce shorts get boring.

### one thing worth keeping

The repeat-fire pattern is real because the rules run independently on their own clocks. Nothing synchronizes them; a pile-up just means multiple reasons showed up for the same coin on the same tape. When that happens — and the backtest said it was actually a touch more reliable than a fresh entry — you take it. The lesson isn't "load up on repeats"; it's "trust the confluence, even when it looks crowded." Three independent reasons to short the same coin usually beats one.

| WLD | short | range short | +3% / −8% | 0.3 |
| SHIB | long | dip buy | +3–8% / none | 3.4 |

#### all-time

| trades closed | win rate | avg trade | cumulative | tracking since |

See you tomorrow — the APT repeat that just came in is now 1.6 days old and working. The LDO stack is closest to resolution, with one leg already halfway to its +3% target and the newer one at the open. If either one of those hits, you'll hear about it.
