Monday morning — and what a Monday it was. Thirteen trades closed in the last 24 hours, which is heavy traffic and almost all green. The book's been running hot since we came online, but yesterday's batch had a wrinkle worth walking through: we had a repeat signal on APT that came after bitcoin had already moved hard between the two entry points, and the backtest data said to skip it. We did. That's not heroic — it's just the rules working the way they're supposed to.

Let me back up. The market moved up yesterday, and moved decisively. Bitcoin rallied +4.09% in a single day, ethereum +2.72%, and the tone shifted from chop to momentum. That kind of tape fires the "buy the strongest" signals — the ones that hunt for coins outperforming during a market-wide jump. NEAR, ARB, APT, and XLM all got tagged. Most of them worked.

The APT story is the one to sit with. The first APT jump-buy signal fired Saturday morning. The second one fired late Saturday night — 56 hours later. In between, bitcoin had climbed +6.59%, which crosses the threshold the backtest identified as dangerous. Here's what the testing showed: when the same coin fires a second time inside three days AND bitcoin has pumped more than +2% between the two entries, that second trade historically lost money — reliably, across eight years of simulation. So we passed on it. One fewer open position, one fewer way to bleed on a trade that had odds stacked against it.

That's not exciting. It's boring, actually. But boring is what the data bought us.

### the market from here

Bitcoin is stretched. Daily RSI hit **70.6** yesterday — overbought territory — and price is now 2.7% off the 30-day high, sitting +4.09% to the good on the day. The 50-day moving average sits at $73,206; bitcoin is +15.4% above it. The 200-day is at $70,506; we're +19.8% above that. Everything is above everything — this is an uptrend, and a solid one, but the rip has been real and fast.

The nearest resistance is $81,432 — a four-way confluence point: the weekly open, today's open, yesterday's high, last month's high, and the week's high are all stacked there. Bitcoin traded above it yesterday but closed shy of it, which means buyers pushed hard but didn't quite own the level by day's end. If that level holds on the next push, you'd watch for sellers to show. Below it, the next floors are the monthly open at $78,563 and then the 30-day low at $74,892.

Ethereum mirrors bitcoin's move in shape: +2.72% on the day, RSI at 69.6 (also overbought), sitting near the 30-day high at $2,654 with room to $2,700 and $2,800 round numbers above. Volume yesterday was light relative to the 20-day average — 0.65x on bitcoin, 0.98x on ethereum — which means the rally yesterday happened on lighter participation than usual. That's not inherently bearish, but it's worth noting: if this move stalls, it stalled on fewer willing hands than the trend would usually have.

Order flow yesterday was interesting. Bitcoin saw the most buyer-aggression in the last ten days — 9.4% net buyer pressure by volume. XLM also showed extreme buyer conviction. But APT, the coin we just wrote about, saw the most selling pressure of the last ten days — aggressive sellers all day — and ARB was perfectly balanced. The coins that jumped most caught the most seller resistance, which is how reversals often begin.

Shorts are paying longs on both bitcoin and ethereum — the funding lean means the leveraged crowd is leaning short, betting on down. Shorts pay when they're outnumbered; it's a tell that betting the other way is crowded. Open interest barely budged on bitcoin yesterday and fell slightly on ethereum, so the big money isn't pouring fresh leverage into this rip — it's existing positioning working in your favor if you're long.

The read: this looks like an uptrend that's run hard and fast on light volume, sitting at overbought RSI, with sellers showing up on the names that moved the most. If I had to guess, the next move is either a short consolidation to let RSI cool or a fast retest of yesterday's lows before the next leg. Neither is a crash — the trend is real — but neither is a guarantee of straight up from here.

### one thing worth keeping

The APT skip yesterday taught something concrete: the backtest's most useful moments aren't the wins — they're the cases it flags as "don't take this trade." A signal that fires is easy to follow. A signal that doesn't fire, because the context is wrong, is harder to trust but often more valuable. The cost of a trade you don't take is zero. The cost of a trade you take against the data is usually negative.

### the book right now

#### closed in the last 24h

| coin | side | what it was | result | how it ended |
| ---- | ---- | --------------- | ------- | --------------- |
| XRP | long | range trade | +5.21% | hit its target |
| XLM | long | range trade | +5.33% | hit its target |
| FIL | long | dip buy | −1.97% | ran out of time |
| JUP | long | hardest-hit buy | +4.59% | hit its target |
| FIL | long | dip buy | +0.42% | ran out of time |
| JUP | long | dip buy | +3.0% | hit its target |
| PEPE | long | dip buy | +1.3% | EMA flip |
| FIL | long | dip buy | +3.37% | hit its target |
| ARB | long | dip buy | +3.61% | hit its target |
| PEPE | long | dip buy | +3.49% | hit its target |
| NEAR | long | jump buy | +10.23% | hit its target |
| NEAR | long | dip buy | +5.29% | hit its target |
| NEAR | long | jump buy | +10.25% | hit its target |

Twelve wins and one loss — FIL's first dip buy timed out at −1.97%. The rest are all green. NEAR was the star: three closes, all wins, one of them a full +10.25% target hit. XRP and XLM, the range trades from earlier in the week, both cleared their +3% targets and then some, finishing at +5% and change. FIL fired three times total and split — first one lost time, second two hit targets. The smaller scalps on PEPE and ARB added quick bps. This is what the rules look like when the tape is hot and dip buys have room to breathe.

#### open positions

| coin | side | what it is | target / stop | days open |
| ---- | ---- | --------------------- | ------------- | --------- |
| ARB | long | jump buy (stacked x2) | +10% / −20% | 3.3 |
| APT | long | jump buy (stacked x2) | +10% / −20% | 2.1 |
| XLM | long | jump buy (stacked x2) | +10% / −20% | 0.1 |

Five open positions, all stacked pairs on the three jump-buy signals. ARB is 3.3 days in to a 5-day window — both the manual and autonomous longs are running, both fired within minutes of each other, and that simultaneous-fire case historically outperforms. APT is 2.1 days in, same story: paired entries, no bitcoin pump between them, favorable backtest verdict. XLM is brand new — less than three hours old — and already stacked two ways, both jump-buy signals on the strongest tape overnight. All three are chasing +10% targets with −20% stops; all have room to run before time pressure hits Thursday.

#### all-time

| trades closed | win rate | avg trade | cumulative | tracking since |
| ------------- | -------- | --------- | ---------- | -------------- |
| 615 | 69.9% | +0.91% | +557.9% | June 08, 2026 |

Thirteen closes lifted the average trade back up to +0.91% from the +0.84% where we ended yesterday. The win rate ticked up to 69.9% — we're winning seven trades for every three we lose, reliably — and the cumulative now sits at +557.9%, nearly a +54 percentage-point climb from the June start. That one loss on FIL mattered less than the size of NEAR's two +10% targets; when the big ones work, they carry the day.

See you tomorrow — ARB and APT are both inside their final 48 hours now, and they're both stacked with favorable repeat-fire profiles. XLM just fired fresh; expect it to either clip +10% fast or settle in for a longer hold.
