# thirty exits in one day, and the rulebook still voted long

Morning, everyone — this is the kind of day that reminds you why exits matter more than entries.

Thirty trades closed since yesterday morning. Sixteen were longs that hit their +3% targets in under four hours each (JTO, LDO, FIL, JUP, APT, PENDLE, MANA, and repeats). Fourteen were either range shorts that gave up at −8% or early range longs that stopped out the same way. The two canceled each other almost perfectly — **the cumulative barely moved despite the churn**.

What you're watching is the book doing what it's built to do: take small, fast wins when the tape cooperates, and walk away from positions that don't. No heroics. No hope. Just the exit design running its clock.

Three coins fired twice in the last 24 hours — LDO, JTO, and FIL. The backtest read on doubles is clear: they do slightly better than fresh signals, provided Bitcoin hasn't pumped more than +2% between the two fires. Yesterday Bitcoin actually fell between entries on all three. That was the favorable case. All three trades hit their targets.

ARB got picked up three times — once as a range short that stopped out at −8.38%, then twice as dip longs that both banked +3%. That's the shape of a sideways tape: same coin, opposite bets, both lived long enough to exit clean. The rulebook doesn't care which direction; it just wants the exit to fire.

### the market from here

Bitcoin is sitting almost dead flat at today's open and the month's low — $75,982 — which means sellers have owned every timeframe from the weekly chart down. The 50-day average is 7.3% overhead at $81,989; the 200-day is 3.8% below at $73,192\. That's a coin resting between its intermediate uptrend and a longer one, with nowhere obvious to anchor.

The RSI daily reads 38.7 — oversold territory — but that doesn't usually matter much when price is already this far below the 50-day. The real question is whether buyers will show up between here and $75,075, which stacks the 30-day low, yesterday's low, and a round number. If they don't, the next line is $73,192, the 200-day average.

Yesterday's order flow was the most seller-heavy Bitcoin has seen in ten days: −10.6% of volume came from market sellers. Ethereum matched it at −13.6%. That's conviction, not noise. ARB — a coin the desk is heavily long on right now — saw −16.3% seller aggression, its most seller-heavy day in the ten-day stretch. The shorts haven't given up yet.

Futures positioning adds context: open interest fell 1.5% on Bitcoin and 1.4% on Ethereum since yesterday, meaning some leveraged longs are closing rather than buying the dip. Shorts are paying longs to hold — the classic sign of a crowded short side. If this rips, it rips hard. But crowded and right are different things; a crowded short can stay crowded for weeks.

Volume yesterday was 2.25× the 20-day average on Bitcoin, 2.27× on Ethereum — that's conviction-level participation, not drift. The tape moved on real aggression; it just happened to be downside. If I had to guess, this looks more like a testing phase than a turn — sellers prove they own the tape, buyers find a level, chop resumes.

### one thing worth keeping

Days like this teach the same lesson every time: a rule that fires 68% of simulated trades and caps its losses at −8% will close more losers than it feels good about, but those small losses won't drain the account if the wins stay real. The book closed five range longs at −8% yesterday and seventeen longs at +3% today. The math works. The tape doesn't have to cooperate; the exits just have to hold their discipline.

#### all-time

| trades closed | win rate | avg trade | cumulative | tracking since |
| ------------- | -------- | --------- | ---------- | -------------- |
| 1,339 | 71.1% | +0.80% | +1,071.9% | June 08, 2026 |

The book is thick: 25 open positions across 16 coins, with NEAR and LDO running four and three copies of the same trade respectively. Most of the repeats came in within the favorable case — Bitcoin moved under 1% between fires — so the backtest read says these should run slightly better than fresh entries. AAVE and SUI repeat shorts came in after Bitcoin fell 4.96%, also favorable. HBAR is a 72-hour repeat with no interim pump, which the data liked.

The high-upside longs (PEPE, NEAR, INJ, WLD aiming +10% or +4%) are still in their first two days. The dip longs are mostly fresh, all aiming +3%–8% in the next one to three days. If the tape cooperates — if dips continue — you'll see a lot of these close tomorrow morning at their targets. If it rips instead, the big longs have time to breathe.

See you tomorrow — the NEAR and INJ big longs are just 1.8 and 1.1 days old; a lot of runway left before the time limit.
